German Association of Heating and Cooking Appliances Manufacturers (HKI)

The producers of domestic heating appliances for solid, liquid and gaseous fuels represent the German Association of heating and cooking appliances manufacturers in the HKI.

Especially domestic heating appliances have to meet high demands referring to safety, ecology and efficiency. HKI´s main working field is therefore the technical sphere: developing new and revising existing standards in co-operation with producers, public authorities and institutions for certification and testing.

The services of HKI for its members include consulting in technical questions, support in finding new technical solutions, representing the industry´s interests towards public authorities, assistance in opening up new markets and economic contacts as well as providing information on foreign markets and new trends.
